About George Kovach
George Kovach began his career in his hometown of Miami, Florida, where he worked for an advertising agency. Although he enjoyed the work, he realized that his true interest was fine art. Almost ten years later, he became a full-time artist.
George grew up admiring and studying the techniques of the Hudson River Artists and graduated from the Miami Art Institute. During his studies, he began to develop his natural talent for painting.
After moving to Texas, Kovach spent years painting the state's countryside, including country roads, windmills, oil derricks, oak trees, bluebonnets, and Indian Paint Brush. Texas became his adopted home and an important influence on his artwork.
